2021 #motoguzziv7 850 - Centenario : First 500 miles + V7III ComparisonThe first five hundred miles on my new Moto Guzzi V7 850 plus a bit of a comparison t One of Moto Guzzi’s most prominent entrants in its motorcycle lineup is the V7 – a bike whose nameplate dates back over 50 years. The V7 received a myriad of updates for the 2021 model year, and there are no apparent updates for 2023, however, a swath of option packages keep the V7 fresh and interesting for a variety of riders. 2023’s offerings consist of the standard V7 Stone, the Once tdc was found, I adjusted from there. Went .005 intake and .007 exhaust based on Guzzi tech recommendation - I have a 750, 21’ might be the 850 however (he’s also got a video online on how to do valve adjustments) Also changed the spark plugs to iridiums since I was in there anyway. I've long admired Guzzi. But the dealer network is sparse. If my preferred dealer carried Moto Guzzi, I'd be all over one. When I bought my '78 Honda CX500, I explained to my wife that it was my Japanese Moto Guzzi. We made many a 2-up camping trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway on that bike. Re: v7 850 valve clearance specs ? My V7ii Stornello is supposed to be 6 & 8 (.15 & .20mm), but I run 4 & 6 (.10 & 15). Perhaps psyco somatic, but the motor seems to run better with the slightly tighter tolerance, and as Kev said, Roper & Beetle recommend 4 & 6 especially with a Beetle Map. Model year. 2022. Category. Classic. Rating. 4.0 See the detailed rating of design and look, engine Guzzi got that bike right: beautiful bike, nice engine, but I was on route 90 and it was not happy trying to keep up with traffic, especially with a little head wind! That is why the V7-850 interests me. By all indications the 850 upgrade is just what the V7 needed and hopefully it doesn't have the bad long haul vibrations of the V9. The Moto Guzzi Limited Company, with its headquarters in Mandello del Lario, was legally founded in Genoa on 15th March 1921.The founders were Emanuele Vittorio Parodi, shipowner, his son and Giorgio, military aviation pilot, and Carlo Guzzi, mechanic. At first, Emanuele Parodi was not so enamoured with the plan of Guzzi and Giorgio, but his confusion vanished when one of his friends told him After 12 years of devoted services, the 744cc was retired and replaced with a new 850cc, 90-degree, V-twin. As we suspected, Moto Guzzi confirms that the V7’s engine is a relative of the V85 TT The V7 Stone Special Edition is designed to showcase Moto Guzzi 's most daring side. If the V7 wasn’t already bold enough, this special edition boasts an Arrow exhaust, Café Racer-style mirrors, red shock absorber and a stunning new shiny black body. A stand out V7 for riders with a passion for Italian attention to detail and Moto Guzzi style. DpiNGgV.
